On June 27, witnessed by Mr. Deny, the Consul General of the Indonesian Consulate in Shanghai, and Mrs. Muti, the leader of LPPOM-MUI, the strategic cooperation signing ceremony between Tigermed-Jyton and Shanghai SAPH Pharma-Tech was successfully completed. Su Han, Chairman of Shanghai SAPH Pharma-Tech, and Peng Yifei, General Manager of Tigermed-Jyton, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

2023 is the 10^th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between Indonesia and China. Mr. Deny successively introduced Indonesia’s investment advantages and policy supports. In 2022, the value of trade between Indonesia and China was USD1,498 billion, a year-on-year increase of 20%, and China’s investment in Indonesia reached USD8.2 billion, a year-on-year increase of 156.25%.

LPPOM-MUI is the food, drug and cosmetic evaluation agency in Indonesia, which is an independent agency under the Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI), whose task is to enforce the HALAL certification process from registration document collection, review to reporting before the Fatwa Committee determines the HALAL status of a material. Mrs. Muti not only introduced LPPOM-MUI in detail in terms of its capability, experience, time efficiency and service scope, but also expressed her best wishes for the signing ceremony.

Peng Yifei, General Manager of Tigermed-Jyton, welcomed and thanked the participants in the signing ceremony. Su Han, Chairman of Shanghai SAPH Pharma-Tech, introduced that Shanghai SAPH Pharma-Tech is a high-tech enterprise with the largest production and sales of HALAL animal biological products, boasting strong comprehensive strength and excellent business performance. Shanghai SAPH Pharma-Tech also provides business consulting services, having helped 3,200 Chinese enterprises obtain Indonesian HALAL certificates for more than 7,500 products. Subsequently, he emphasized the institutional qualifications and testing capabilities of Shanghai SAPH Pharma-Tech, and introduced Indonesia’s economic momentum and advantages of its pharmaceutical industry. He believed that this strategic cooperation could bring better medical services to the Indonesian people, generate favorable social value, and contribute to the friendly and cooperative relationship between China and Indonesia.
