Tigermed-Jyton Supports China NMPA Approval of INIBO®

On October 26, 2026, the Korean botulinum toxin type A for injection INIBO®, in which Bloomage Biotech has made a strategic investment, was officially approved for marketing by China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) under registration certificate number SJ20260048. Known in the industry as the “Jade Toxin,” INIBO® is the 10th botulinum toxin product approved in the Chinese market. Tigermed-Jyton provided end-to-end clinical trial services for this product.

INIBO® is an injectable botulinum toxin type A independently developed by INIBIO Co., Ltd. of South Korea. Renowned for its high purity and jade-toned brand identity, it is known in the industry as the “Jade Toxin.” INIBO® is distinguished by its low diffusivity: the smaller the area of diffusion, the more precisely physicians can control the treatment zone and avoid inadvertent effects on non-target muscles — enabling more natural dynamic facial expressions and a lower risk of a “masked face” appearance. This is particularly important for Asian individuals, who tend to have relatively flat facial bone structure and fuller soft tissue. The product utilizes a new-generation strain of Swedish origin — the first European strain of its kind — which is also the standard strain used by the World Health Organization (WHO) for antibody production. Its precision and stability are underpinned by two patented technologies: the INIP-P™ patented purification technology achieves a protein purity of 99.99%, yielding a structurally homogeneous, high-purity 900 kDa toxin protein complex that maintains sustained efficacy across repeated injections, with a lower incidence of drug resistance; the INIP-D™ patented drying technology minimizes activity loss, ensuring superior product stability and a rapid onset of action. Together, these two processes maintain consistent biological activity throughout storage, transportation, and injection, reducing immunogenicity at the source and extending the duration of effect — delivering stable, long-term efficacy for aesthetic patients requiring periodic maintenance.
